Provides 99.9% UV protection and is tested in independent laboratories to assure compliance with ANSI Z87.1+2010 and Military Ballistic MCEPS GL-PD 10-12 standards. G-15 lenses provide contrast and image definition while maintaining a neutral, true-to-life perspective. This dark green-colored lens tint has cooling properties and was pioneered by the U.S. Air Force. 15% of available light passes through this lens. A flexible and durable TR90/Nylon frame is coated with a durable, rubberized gray finish, has subdued markings, and meets MIL-SPEC uniform standards for military and law enforcement professionals. Thin temples provide extra comfort, do not pinch or obstruct when used with a headset, and eliminate unwanted noise by allowing communication and noise reduction devices to maintain their seal over the ears.
Lenses are coated with a revolutionary, military grade anti-fog layer called Vapor Shield. Whether exposed to hot, cold, or humid conditions, Vapor Shield minimizes the surface tension for water, resulting in a lens that is impervious to fog.
To ensure longevity, lenses are triple-coated with a scratch-resistant finish.
